ANITA REE – the story so far

Born into a country music family Anita grew up on a cane and cattle farm in South- East Queensland. Growing up in the bush - but close to town - gave Anita a unique perspective on Australian life forming an excellent background for writing songs of her land and its people and places. After several award wins on the talent quest circuit, Anita started her professional music career in 2003 after winning The Australian Bush Balladeer Starquest. Since then she has gone from strength to strength cementing her place as an Australian favourite. With extensive touring throughout Eastern Australia feeding the passion for music and travel and with a sound all her own Anita is quickly making her mark as one of Australia's finest singer/songwriters. Her unique voice and dynamic style make for a memorable performance wherever the show.
